NOTES

Pineapple

For my fruit and veggie painting I chose a pineapple because they are one of my favorite fruits and I also like how they look, so that's the reason why I chose to paint a pineapple. I liked how the painting came out but one thing I don't like about it is that I painted too hard on the lines that are going to the center of the hexagon, but overall I liked my painting.

Underwater

For my anything but a Canvas project I used a cup and made an underwater painting on it. For the paint I used acrylic and combined different colors. The theme of my project was an underwater painting so I added different things you can find underwater like rocks, seagrass and coral reefs. I could improve my project by adding more shading and also having more space to paint.

Seal

For my pen and ink project I decided to paint a seal. I picked a seal because they are my favorite animal and like most of the times they look calm or playful. I think I could have improved my piece by adding more details to the background instead of just painting it blue, but the reason why I decided to use pen on the seal instead of the background is that I didn't know what to do to make it look like water and not just random lines in the paper, so that's why I used pen for the seal instead of the background. But overall I liked my project, It just needs more stuff on the background.

Sun

For my paint pouring art, I used yellow and red to paint the canvas and then used yellow and orange to make a sun in the center. I didn't expect the yellow and red to mix so that's why the background is orange. It also has chunks of paint that in my opinion look good, but I think I could have made the sun look better.

Magma

For my ink blowing I used orange to make it look like lava and then used watercolor pencils to color around lava with gray to make it look like stone. In my head this looked better but I think that using gray was not good so that's why I changed it to brown.

Evil biomes

For this painting, I decided to make a tree based on a video game that I like. This tree has different shades of red and purple for the leaves and different shades of gray for the tree trunk, for the background I used different shades of blue. I used red and purple because those are the two colors of the evil biomes that spread in the world of that game. I like how this painting came out and also like it because its based on one of my favorite games.
